The 4-week moving average was 646,750, a decrease of 4,250 from the previous week\u2019s unrevised average of 651,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: black; font-family: Verdana;\">The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 4.6% for the week ending April 11, an increase of 0.1 percentage points from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 4.5%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: black; font-family: Verdana;\">The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending April 11 was 6,137,000, an increase of 93,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 6,044,000.
