The 4-week moving average was 347,250, an increase of 6,750 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 340,500.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Rate Remains Unchanged<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate <\/strong>was 2.3% for the week ending May 18, unchanged from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Increases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment <\/strong>during the week ending May 18 was 2,986,000, an increase of 63,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 2,923,000.
