When do I need to start using the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/files\/form\/i-9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form I-9<\/a>? Answer: The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/portal\/site\/uscis\" target=\"_blank\">United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)<\/a>, a component of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/index.shtm\" target=\"_blank\">United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS)<\/a>, has released the revised <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/files\/form\/i-9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form I-9<\/a>, and its Spanish equivalent, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/files\/form\/I-9_Spanish_Rev_01-29-09.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Formulario I-9, Verificaci\u00f3n de Elegibilida para el Empleo<\/a>. Employers are required to use the revised forms starting today, April 3, 2009.
