The 4-week moving average was 407,500, an increase of 4,000 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 403,500.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Rate Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate <\/strong>was 2.9% for the week ending August 13, a 0.1 percentage point decrease from the prior week&#8217;s revised rate of 3.0%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment <\/strong>during the week ending August 13 was 3,641,000, a decrease of 80,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 3,721,250.
