The 4-week moving average was 421,250, a decrease of 2,750 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 424,000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Rate Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 2.9% for the week ending July 9, a 0.1 percentage point decrease from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 3.0%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending July 9 was 3,698,000, a decrease of 50,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 3,748,000.
