Solis. \u201cI am pleased that the Labor Department can assist Massachusetts residents as they recover from the storms and rebuild their communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grant Awarded To State Agency<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The grant was awarded to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mass.gov\/?pageID=elwdhomepage&amp;L=1&amp;L0=Home&amp;sid=Elwd\" target=\"_blank\">Massachusetts Department of Workforce Development<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hampden County Is Eligible for Public Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On June 15, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fema.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fema.gov\/news\/eventcounties.fema?id=14733\" target=\"_blank\">declared<\/a> Hampden County eligible for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fema.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">FEMA\u2019s<\/a> Public Assistance Program. Worcester County has been declared eligible for Individual Assistance, but not for Public Assistance at this time.
