The 4-week moving average was 395,750, an increase of 5,500 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 390,250.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Rate Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate <\/strong>was 2.9% for the week ending April 2, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 3.0%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment <\/strong>during the week ending April 2 was 3,680,000, a decrease of 58,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 3,738,000.
