The 4-week moving average was 414,000, a decrease of 12,500 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 426,500.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Rate Increases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 3.3% for the week ending December 18, an increase of 0.1 percentage points from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 3.2%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Increases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending December18 was 4,128,000, an increase of 57,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 4,071,000.
