Answer: Employees are not required to file <span style=\"color: black;\">a revised <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw4.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-4, Employee\u2019s Withholding Allowance Certificate<\/a> or its Spanish equivalent, <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw4sp.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Formulario W-4(SP), Certificado de Exenci\u00f3n de la Retenci\u00f3n del Empleado<\/a><\/span> to see the impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Internal Revenue Service (IRS)<\/a> provided new tax tables in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/p15t.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Publication 15-T<\/a> that adjust withholding for most workers. Employers must begin using the tables no later than April 1, 2009.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: black; font-family: Verdana;\">Workers may file a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw4.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-4<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw4sp.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Formulario W-4(SP)<\/a> if they do not wish to have their withholding reduced. Employees may wish to review <a href=\"https:\/\/old.visionpayroll.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/p919.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Publication 919, How Do I Adjust My Tax Withholding<\/a> or use the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/individuals\/article\/0,,id=96196,00.html\" target=\"_blank\">IRS withholding calculator<\/a>.
