The law requires an adjustment to the minimum wage be calculated each year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adjustment Is Tied to Changes in CPI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The adjustment is tied to the US All-Urban Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the 12 months ending in August.
