The 4-week moving average was 486,750, an increase of 3,250 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 483,500.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Rate Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 3.5% for the week ending August 14, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the prior week\u2019s revised rate of 3.6%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Seasonally Adjusted Insured Unemployment Decreases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending August 14 was 4,456,000, a decrease of 62,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 4,518,000.
