The 4-week moving average was 473,500, an increase of 14,250 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 459,250.<\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 3.5% for the week ending July 31, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 3.6%.<\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending July 31 was 4,452,000, a decrease of 118,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 4,570,000.
