The 4-week moving average was 458,500, an increase of 5,250 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 453,250.<\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 3.6% for the week ending July 24, unchanged from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 3.6%.<\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending July 24 was 4,537,000, a decrease of 34,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 4,571,000.
