Do I still need to file <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw3_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-3<\/a>? Answer: Anyone required to provide a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw2_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-2<\/a> to an employee must file <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw3_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-3, Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements<\/a>. Employers may file <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw3_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-3<\/a> on paper if transmitting fewer than 250 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw2_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Forms W-2<\/a>. Transmit Copy A of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw2_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-2<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw3_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Form W-3<\/a> to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Social Security Administration (SSA)<\/a>. Employers transmitting 250 or more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw2_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Forms W-2<\/a> must file them electronically.
