The 4-week moving average was 463,000, an increase of 2,500 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 460,500.<\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 3.5% for the week ending May 29, a decrease of 0.2 percentage points from the prior week\u2019s revised rate of 3.7%.<\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending May 29 was 4,462,000, a decrease of 255,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 4,717,000.
