The 4-week moving average was 459,000, an increase of 1,750 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 457,250.<\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 3.6% for the week ending May 22, unchanged from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 3.6%.<\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending May 22 was 4,666,000, an increase of 31,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 4,635,000.
