The 4-week moving average was 475,500, an increase of 5,000 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 470,500.<\/p>\n<p>The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 3.5% for the week ending February 27, unchanged from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 3.5%.<\/p>\n<p>The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending Feb. 27 was 4,558,000, an increase of 37,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 4,521,000.
