Therefore, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: purple;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Internal Revenue Service (IRS)<\/span><\/span><\/a> <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/newsroom\/article\/0,,id=213657,00.html\" target=\"_blank\">announced recently<\/a><\/span> that it will waive failure to deposit penalties for employment and excise taxes due after September 17, 2009 and before October 6, 2009 as long as the deposits were made by October 5, 2009. In addition, affected taxpayers will have until December 17, 2009 to file most tax returns.
