The 4-week moving average was 548,000, a decrease of 6,250 from the previous week\u2019s revised average of 554,250.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; font-size: 10pt;\">The advance seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment rate<\/strong> was 4.6% for the week ending September 19, unchanged from the prior week\u2019s unrevised rate of 4.6%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; font-size: 10pt;\">The advance number for seasonally adjusted <strong>insured unemployment<\/strong> during the week ending September 19 was 6,090,000, a decrease of 70,000 from the preceding week\u2019s revised level of 6,160,000.
